Meeting with MoS (Personnel) Dr Jitendra Singh

“A team of AIFEPSEs met with Hon’ble Minister of State (Personnel) Dr. Jitendra Singh in his office in North Block on 29 August 2017. The team had elaborate discussion on pay fixation and other issues related to Ex-Servicemen in CPSEs and handed over the file containing SoC over pay fixation. They got very favourable and positive response and assurance from the Hon’ble Minister.

Meeting with MoS Dr. Jitender singhji was a big push of our legitimate demand of pay fixation. Minister was very conducive to receive the team. Keeping his concerns high that his ministry doesn’t have much to do with us a employees of PSEs and DPE will look after our issue, we could convey that DoPT under his ministry did frame a pay fixation policy decades back and our DPE sees a lacuna in that and finds way to interprate to the cost of heavy financial loss to ESM re-employed in various PSEs alongside demeaning of their long career and experience in the armed forces. Now, your DoPT needs to remove that lacuna so that we get our dues deprived over three decades.
Here, he got the point and changed the idea that employees in PSEs may have concerns with his ministry.
Friends, this is general way of working of government departments to pass on the ball to others court but if person with firm base like AIFEPSEs across the table have decided to convey his point there only at the right table and in the changed and conducive environment of present central government, he can do so and we did it in this meeting✌
